Payson Accident

I received several phone calls yesterday before leaving work at 3 telling me not to get on I-15 and to take the 'back roads'. Then my friend sent me these pictures taken from her daughters back yard. I was shocked to say the least. It usually takes me 25 min. to get home but yesterday it took 1 1/2 hours. Watching the news was a shock: 12 semis and 15-20 cars/trucks. Another dear friend works for Mountain View Hospital and she said that they had 21 injured people come in from this accident and that it did not include those that were sent to UVRMC. Of the 21 they only admitted 1. She said that one gentleman said, 'there were angels out there'.

Father, Papa, Hero

We would like to pay tribute to Matt's dad, our hero! He fought a valiant fight with Pancriatic Cancer and yesterday, we said goodbye and held his hand while he passed through the veil. Dan was a wise soul, who loved the simplicity of life. Words cannot describe the gratitude we have for our Heavenly Father for blessing our lives with such a powerful, spiritual giant. He loved: farming, vacationing and his family. He loved and cherished his grandchildren, they were his pride and joy. We will forever miss you Papa.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

Matt and Kade had a great time out in the snow. They spent hours making this igloo. It turned out great. Matt teased Kade the whole time that they were going to sleep in it. I was a wimp and stayed in making hot chocolate.

Joining in 2008

Happy New Year from ours to yours!

Well, I have allowed the 'blog craze' to pressure me into joining! We have so many friends and family members that have joined the 'blog craze' that I was feeling so out in left field.

With a new year comes new goals, and since Matt and I don't participate in that tradition... I thought this might be a good one to consume more of the time that I do not have. LOL

Now for the funny part...
1) we don't really know how to attach photos to our blog
2) we hate the look and don't know how to change it
If any of you can help.... WE NEED IT!
