Anniversary

Matt and I are coming upon our 14th wedding anniversary next month and it is my turn to plan what we are doing. I want it to be fun, romantic and a little weekend get away. However, I don't want to spend too much because obviously next year is our 15th and I am going to try and pull off a cruise. With that being said, does anyone have any ideas??? Don't worry Matt NEVER, and I mean NEVER looks at our blog.

I will do the best I can here... I am not sure how much fabric it takes, I would say if the fabric is doubled, 1/2 a yard each would do. I just had a huge supply of fleece, so I never paid attention to that detail. It takes at least an hour per pillow for kids, so if I were you I would pre-cut the hearts and only have the kids cut the strips around the outside and tie them together then stuff them. You need to layer the 2 pieces of fabric together when you cut the strips on the outside so you end up tying them together with the same amount on each side. Does this make sense? Also, you could make smaller ones to save time. And 2 of my girls who were 7/8 didn't know how to tie, so we had to help them hands-on. Otherwise, I think the hearts are self-explanatory. I made a heart pattern to trace for cutting, out of pattern paper. Let me know if you have any other questions...

Hey, Jessica--I just found your blog on Berrett's so now I can see how you and your cute family are doing. How are you doing? I hope well. Congrats on 14 years!! That's a freckin' long time! I've never been on a cruise so I'm no help to you at all. What about a Sandels trip? I've heard those are AWESOME.
Hopefully I'll see you soon--

I agree with Jane. Make some pillows with hearts on them.

You should check out this get-a-way. http://www.neckerisland.com. You can rent the whole island for a whole week for the low price of $322,000.00. Or, you could just rent a room for a week for $22,500.00.

Enjoy your stay.
